The post-game content opens up possibilities of catching more powerful Pokemon in the Wild Area, as all Pokemon have their levels increased to at least 60, but there is one Pokemon in particular that players should use their Master Ball on, which is the cover legendary. Since players aren't given their first Master Ball until they have finished the main game, there's no way or reason to use it before the Pokemon League. This way, it is possible to obtain a Master Ball well before finishing the game, though it is incredibly unlikely, as actually winning the main prize with Loto-ID is easier said than done. A great way to get Pokemon with different trainer ID's is to use the Surprise Trade mechanic over and over again, which will give players multiple Pokemon with different ID's and increase their chances. If a Pokemon's trainer ID matches up perfectly with the lotto number, the Rotom PC will grant them an additional Master Ball, though this sounds easier than it actually is. This was normally done through some kind of lottery system, which returns in Sword and Shield as the Loto-ID option on a Rotom PC inside Pokemon Centers. Starting with generation two, players have been able to obtain more than one Master Ball in the same save file, though it isn't exactly easy.
